Week 9: cabinets set. Each beat holds still, then the change lands fast.

Web and stores, concept build

harbor & pine

A builder's site where the scroll builds the kitchen: blueprint, framing, cabinets, finishes, Sunday.

How it was made

  1. Read a reference scroll site frame by frame, at 8 frames a second, to map its camera path and its rhythm of holds and changes.
  2. Drew six keyframes, one per beat: blueprint, design, rough-in, cabinets, finishes, finished.
  3. Generated five video clips, each starting on the real last frame of the one before, so the build reads as one continuous shot.
  4. Wrote the scroll engine: the stage pins, scroll position picks the video frame, and the captions and a warming colour grade follow it.
  5. Upscaled every clip from 720p to 2560 and cut one file per screen: a 9:16 crop for phones, 1920 for laptops, 2560 for retina and large screens.
  6. Tested on phone, iPad, laptop and 2560 screens, fixed what broke, and only then put it live.
